How I preach
I’m a seasoned preacher who wants to handle Scripture faithfully and communicate it in a way that is pastoral, practical, sometimes humorous and, where the text demands it, deeply convicting.
When I step into another church’s pulpit, I want to honour the ministry that is already there. I come to serve your people, your vision and the work God is doing in your church — not to arrive with my own agenda.
I have a number of messages I’ve preached in different ministry contexts that can serve a congregation well, or I’m equally comfortable preaching within your current sermon series, working from a passage or theme you give me, or preparing something specifically for the occasion.
